Nun Well - Arthington

This well is located in a grass field on the north side of the Harewood to Otley road. A circular stone trough has been placed over the actual spring and the water can be seen bubbling up through the silt in the bottom of the trough (which was half full on a visit in August 99). A short distance to the east another spring emerges by the edge of the field.
As at the Nun's Well at Arden, this well is also named from its association with a former nunnery nearby.
