Teesdale examples

The 1996 summer day meeting of the YAS Prehistory group visited the Gayles Moor and Barningham Moor areas of Teesdale.Tim Laurie was our guide for the day and with his detailed knowledge of the areas prehistory he led the group on an informative walk taking in a selection of barrows, cairns, earthworks and settlement sites, plus a number of cup and ring marked rocks associated with these locations.
