Rock carvings on The North York Moors

SKELTON..... Airy Hill.
In the late 1970's G.M. Crawford (1) noted a cup marked stone (possibly part of a kerb) at the edge of a barrow on Airy Hill.
This large stone was still in situ in April 1999, being located on the southern edge of the barrow, it has six cup marks on the edge facing out from the mound. The cupmarks are well weathered with no visible pick marks.
